Hey guys.
Our guild is wiping a shitton on Ilgynoth. We are already at 100+ wipes.
We are using the fatboss tactic but killing 8 Ichor at the start of the fight. But we keep wiping in the second Phase 1 most of the time.
Can some1 tell me what's going wrong?
Most guilds lust at the start of the 2nd outside phase. This lets you burn down the dominators and kill some ichor's before the corruptors spawn on the far right. Instead when you're killing those corruptors you have about 15 ichor's up which means most people are fixated and constantly having to move = dps loss = you fall behind and die. If you get the heart down to 650m in the 1st inside phase then you're fine the 2nd time and that's easily achievable without lust.
But basically the second tentacle phase is very exact in what you do:
After running out from the eye kill the two dominator tentacles quickly with here. We used typhoons + mass grip to get the blobs quickly to the eye, blow them up and pop all defensives / healing cooldowns while keeping the two Deathglare tentacles interrupted. As soon as this is done (or earlier if you're too slow) Corruptor tentacles spawn to the far right so have ranged dps + a couple healers ready to go immediately. From there it relaxes a bit, just need enough dps to stay up to speed with the blobs so you can phase at the right time. Pay a lot of attention to where you're dropping spew corruption as a lot of that on top of Death Blossoms is pretty nasty.
The second phase 1 is very dps intensive to start. We found we needed to lust and second dps pot on it.
We got our first kill very recently and we had a pretty bad first heart phase and still killed it. The heart dps isn't too important compared to cleanly phasing.
