Marksmanship rotation and focus

Hi,

I played my hunter mainly survival and i'm trying marksman for a change.
I took sidewinders, crows, patient sniper, lock and load, lone wolf as talents.

Something seems odd in my "rotation".
Sometimes, I can be out of procs or out of focus. Is it intended for this build to have some white damage phases, or I just need more haste and artifact points to get it to work well ?

I'm actually low gear and 9 points into the artifact.

Once you get up to around 20% haste, you actually have a slightly opposite issue. That is not wasting focus because you reached focus capped.

Thanks for the answers. Is it worth it to go steady focus and piercing shot while I stack better gear ?
