    Mythic Dragons help

    Hey all.

3/7M. 100 wipes on Dragons. 2 tanks / 5 heals. I know we have some people standing in shit and being bad, but there's gotta be more to these wipes than just avoidable damage. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...KJ7R/#fight=10 is our best pull of the night. We're spreading dragons right at the start and lusting after portal group 2 comes out. Coral is not a mainspec healer (we normally have a mistweaver). Any advice? Anything you see (positioning, portal groups, CDs, etc) we can change? I'm at my wit's end.

    Thank you.

Try to find a sixth healer. There's not much dps requirement.

Don't mean this in any bad way but 100 wipes on this sounds abnormal, it's one of the easier bosses in EN. A sixth healer helps to cheese it though as there are no real dps checks, it's mostly about the portal team and tanks doing their job right and dispels going out where needed. Stuns & burst on the difficult spirits around 20-30 % HP and that's about it.

You are ALWAYS wiping to Defiled Eruption. It's the purple AoE from Ysondre that roots everyone around a specific player. Tell your Raidteam to stay spread so it never roots more than 2 ppl. On your best try your Shadow Priest Gleam got Defiled Eruption. He was dispelled immediately and still died to it. Get a try where nobody gets killed by Defiled Eruption and the boss is dead.
Also tell your healers to dispell shadowburst debuffs at 2 Stacks.

What Teomas said. You need to look at the tools at your disposal here. The SPriest has dispersion (at a pinch) and mass dispel. Focus on not losing people to this as a starter point to improving.

The simplest answer is to get a sixth healer. There's really no dps race here and if you really have people dying to roots, it gives you an additional dispel to handle it faster. You get another healer in case your portal one dies. You can dispel more Shadow Bursts (or sleep). You have more raid cooldowns. It makes it so much easier to handle all the damage, which in turns makes for a more controlled fight. Yes, it will be slightly longer, but not by much - especially if you're still dying a lot.

Pretty much this. Our guild downed them last night after maybe 15 or so wipes. Started with 5 heals and wound up 6 and a half healing it lol. Had our shadow priest go holy, which he isn't so great at just for that little bit of oomph needed and so he could only focus on mass dispelling one of our sides. Did not lust for the first set of spirits but saved it for the 2nd set we were getting towards the very end.
