The difference this time though is there is now a new mount and from what I've heard it isn't currently on the ptr

Wait, it's not on ptr? :O Odd... Normally blizzard would... 'Announce' if they had intentions to retire a mount, so that anyone who wants it, can rush for it, like they did for old ZG, and CMs :/
