Best Monitor, Gear and Settings for Competitive Games

    Hello MMO-Champion Community

For the last few months, my brother and I have been working on a cool little side project. We're always lurking in this forum, since you guys tend to offer some really good advice we thought you could do the same for us too.

http://ProSettings.net is a resource for people who are interested in finding the best settings and gaming gear for competitive games. We research the settings, monitors, mice, and other gaming peripherals of professional esports players and analyze them.

We've always thought that professional reviews from hardware focussed sites only show one part of the picture. So we took our time and wrote our own Best Monitor and Gear Guide. We also did the same for CS:GO.

Hopefully you guys can help us a little bit and offer feedback on things you would change. Tweeting us @ProSettings would be great. (We are doing a giveaway currently.)

We hope this isn't too strong of a self-promotion.

    Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

You should have this on the list, as the best option:

Its 100 bucks cheaper than the benq and has all the same features including a blur reducing strobing backlight. Asus vg248qe has no place on the list, it has been surpassed by a dozen 144hz monitors since its release.

We are thinking about adding a personal opinion to every section. We will look into the one you posted.

Gear wise, I have to recommend a good laser mouse and a mechanical keyboard. I can't help but stress mechanical keyboards though! <3

Not sure if that's a dig or not lol. Really go ahead and look at the reviews for the LG, it does blur reduction better than the benq for 100 dollars less, and blur reduction is probably the best feature a 144hz monitor can have and not a ton of them have it natively for reasonable prices (mostly only gsync monitors have this, and you cant have gsync+blur reduction active at same time).

Laser mice are do not have flawless sensors and get used less and less.

There is not one flawless laser mouse:
