Required: None
Top Tier: Guardian, Protection Warrior, Protection Paladin
Middle Tier: Brew Master
Bottom Tier: DK, DH

Heals:
Required: Holy Paladin
Top Tier: Resto Shaman, Resto Druid
Middle Tier: Holy Priest
Bottom Tier: Mistweaver
Weird Tier: Disc Priest

Couldn't rank DPS to be honest

disc priest gets more and more stupid the more balance druids there are to funnel them innervate:P

as for dps:
it's hard to rank, because there's stuff like: single target, AOE, cleave, even utility etc.

one thing's for sure, shadow priests are broken beyond belief

Here are my ranks;

TANKS:
God tier - Guardian Druid
Top tier - the rest

HEALERS:
Top tier - Resto druid, Holy pala
Mid tier - the rest

DPS:
God tier - SP, any dps with double bis legendaries
Top tier - any dps with atleast one of two bis legendaries
Mid tier - dps without any of the two bis legendaries
Bottom tier - Elemental shaman

A list of classes with their pros/cons would be better.

Or multiple tier-lists. Top Cleave, top ST, top MT, top mobility, top burst, top sustained DPS, top survivability/personnals, top utility...

I don't have a global tier list in mind. As a prot war/hpriest, I'd say that if DH tanks aren't really GOOD players, they're a nightmare to play with because of their yo-yo health bar.

I love to play with classes that have good utility. warriors & shams for their stuns, DK (especially tanks) for their grab, prot warriors can chain quickly & heave some neat utilities, hunters who use misdirection are a blessing, I like BM too. Generally, ranged > melee, there are way too few of them. You can cheese way more fights with ranged than with melee.

I don't really understand why some people rank MW monks so low on the healing spectrum, they are underplayed (monks in general) but most raids that I join as MW monk I easily top healing and I've save the day a few times with their CDs. Sure they are no holy paladin, but they aren't bottom tier.

You said it yourself. They are miserably underplayed. For every 1 monk, there are 5 Demon hunters and 5 Druids.
