Need help comparing and choosing or building a new GAMING PC

Hi all, been using this site for 10+ years and never made an account until today. So I have a Lenovo y700 15ISK touch. bought it in January for 1060. I really want a desktop to play wow on instead and would like to see basically if I can find a desktop with better specs but just cheaper than the laptop was. Would like to sell the laptop, so I really only have a range of around 800-900 dollars. Of course I'd spend less than that but I just need helping finding a make and model with the same or better specs in a desktop. I would deffinitly also be willing to build my own as I have not yet done that and think it would be fun, and have heard it can be a lot cheaper than buying a prebuilt. Thank you all so much!!!

It can be done cheaper than this, but these are all quality parts and the z170/k series cpu gives a bit of future proofing.
