Considering with E-sports the last LoL World Championship had more viewers Worldwide than any physical Sport. I'd say Younger Viewers just want to watch something more enjoyable.

I highly doubt that LoL can compete with the football world championship finals which is watched by ~ 2billions or the olympic games.
