So with the shadow NoVA change and the nerfs anyone on ptr confirm on how much of a change this effects a sub rogue with boots?

For St fights that is the question!

Also any word on if the new shoulders work with shadown dance?

we're probably gonna have to run with anticipation
and definitely weapon master(since it'll proc extra shadow novas too)

the boots is still gonna bis but we're not gonna be able to be that liberal with the energy anymore

dont know about the cloak but im 99% sure it wont work on dance

Pretty much this - the nerf to DS and buff to anticipation will make them much more even.

If you have boots, (and ring too pref) you'd be able to squeeze off 5 shadow strikes per dance and immediately dump 10cp and mostly come out energy neutral or positive.

That's 5 Akkari's soul's and 5 ring strikes(if you have it), and 2 finishers, a direct gain on damage.

The tradeoff is the loss of the 6th combo point, which is a loss on energy gen/finisher dmg, though not a massive loss.

It will be a tough call instead of a sure thing.
