What do you think of Star Wars Rogue One?

I think it'll be an awesome movie. Original plotline, original characters, and we don't even know whose the Jedi [I bet its Forest Whittier or the Asian guy]. Pretty sure though, Darth Vader is going to slaughter everyone left at the end and the Droid is going to sacrifice himself in some way.

How the fuck can you possibly think anything of the movie without it being released? A couple of trailers? The amount of times I've been mislead by seemingly good trailers is unreal.

The plotline is interesting but that's all that can be said at this point.

I have not really kept on top of it, dont like too many spoilers and such, but my understanding from the odd tidbit ive hear from the sw fans in the guild was there were no jedi in this film. Vader is healing from his fight with Ahsoka, and comes in at the end. More this is about the attrition battle between the empire and the rebels.

The trailers they've shown have me pretty excited, but I've been there before with a number of films (BvS, X-Men, Suicide Squad) and been burned, so I'm cautiously optimistic that it will turn out as good as it looks.
