Joe Dever died

I see on Wikipedia Joe Dever died this week. That was unexpected. He of course was the author of Lone Wolf, the best fantasy gamebook series of all time. I used to love those gamebooks, I still have most of them in a box somewhere. The series retained its quality to the end, but eventually interest in them petered out in the mid-90s I think. Pity about the novelizations of them though, which were absolutely awful.

So I read the title and thought it said John Denver and I'm like no shit he died. Like along time ago. Then I looked the guy up in the op and I"m like who the hell is this.
