Did Ad Block die?

I was getting audible adds on my pc yesterday every 30 seconds. I couldn't even see where the adds were located. This was using ublock origin.

I reset my cache and cookies and updated my ublock lists but was still getting them. I'm wondering if it's malware from curse client, we all know how shady those fuckbags are and they own this website

I have also experienced something odd going on. It started yesterday and startled the shit out of me. I wasn't happy either, may get Ublock. I get that websites need ads for revenue and such but the way things are coming in is just bad.

I had to install Ublock to stop the add's. For some reason Adblock hasn't been working for me on this site and others.

I have both ABP and Ublock, and as of two days ago these audio ads have been freaking me out. MMOC is not whitelisted for me

visual ads are fine but the audio ones come out of nowhere and freak you out if your volume is loud enough.

The update adds an option to let some adds in, you need to un-check the option.

I use ABP and NoScript, nothing comes through unless you manually allow it.

Good, but is a hassle everytime you go to new site and need to decide what do you allow to come through.

I have been having this issue as well, a few sites adds are sneaking through. I can refresh and they may go away, or not. Updated, and then reinstalled it, no fix.

One of those types of ads are the Audio ads, and chaud is working to fix it as per his last response.
