I can't go to any extreme at this point. He does things I love and a few things I question. But truth be told that is kind of the nature of the beast with his position. He is in that spot because he can, likely, take all the communities shit and take all the blame for what is really the teams effort. If he handles that as well as he has thus far he is the right man for the job.

Personally I feel like he focusses too much on the raiding scene and their irrelevant opinion on various matters not-related to raiding. It has and will continue to ruin other aspects of the game.

I hope he gets good counceling because all the toxic shit players like you talk about him might bring him down a bit. Was the same with Ghostcrawler, he got so much abuse on forums that I really wonder how he can do the job. Those people are not the one and only decider about how the game is developed. Sure Ion is game director, but that doesn't mean he is programs everything himself.

One day sometime in the future we'll have another game director who gets all the hate and Ion will be talked about as postitive as Ghostcrawler now.

Reason GC is talked about so positively because he freely admits to mistakes in a professional way a bit. Like LFR for example. Of course while at Blizzard he wouldn't have been able to say that. I don't really care for him personally but a bit of his insight is interesting to read.

there is nothing worse in what hazzikostas do. thats maybe the best guy this shitty team even has.

he did great things for raiding encounters in general. he has strong and rational oriented oppinions. he is most if the time honest and do not make that big deal out of "a company never should agree to mistakes they made". he says as it is.

imo if hazzikostas leeave blizzard, you have literally NO really well doing, motivated oerson, gettin the greater picture. and besides thats, this guy seems the only one, pissing on the favor and hype and just doing his job.
