    Destro Relic Advice

    Hey!

I just got a Sizzling Fang fire relic at 890. (Increases critical strike chance of immolate)

Should I replace my 880? (Increases damage done by immolate)

    Here is my armory:

882 iLevel with haste and crit filled out.

    Thanks!

I would deffo replace, immo crit chance sims higher because of the shard return it also grants, and it's 10 item levels.

I'd say change, since immolate has a a higher chance of generating soul shards when it crits. Soul shards then gives you more cb's which is ultimately way better than pure dmg output on immolate i reckon.

This is with roaring blaze, so its a little closer with backdraft.
..and so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.

Oh that is awesome. I should learn how to sim relics. Seems like the a big difference between 890 crit vs 880 dmg. Cheers.

Make sure you ignore the stack ranking and look at the actual numbers. Sometimes something seems a lot farther apart than it is because everythings pretty close. And again, the immo traits are valued higher in that sim because it uses roaring blaze.

But yeah immo crit is definitely the bees knees.
