I think it's fine to let people discuss politics on off-topic but creating a dedicated forum for it would mean MMOC endorses political discussions as part of what it stands for. And I for one do not believe MMOC as a platform for things WoW is a place that is specifically meant to harbour political discussions.

Well... For the last year, every 2 or 3 threads I see pop-up are repeated threads of the same exact topic when it comes to politics, or necro'd threads... Moderators are slacking pretty hard.

I am almost sensing that the reason for not making it, would be that there might not always be enough activity for it. Though, right now it would save the forum to lead away the political mumbles..
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

I agree, should be its own forum. Or even Politics & News forum for all news and politics, leaving the OT forum for actually OT instead of the P & N forum it has become.

The forum's threads change as the wants of the forum change. We're not going to generate a new forum for this. Right now the general off-topic forum suffices.
