So sad, Carrie and her mum passing. Broken Heart Syndrome..quite literally heartbreaking.

As a young girl, you made me feel I could be powerful, just like the boys, not just another helpless girl needing a guy to rescue her. We could be the hero too! Later on you helped give courage to many suffering from mental health issues, to open up about them, including myself, more and more people in the public eye speaking up helps those living with these issues.

I also loved your sense of humour, on gameshows, chat shows etc, you always came across as very humble, and down to earth, as down to earth as you can be when you have had the life you have. A kind soul, full of fun and mischief. Be at rest , you and your Mum.
