Looks great, need to watch that first episode.

Still trying to figure out what exactly is the supernatural element to this.
I agree. Though it did slowly get better towards end. The payoff didn't feel like it was worth it and I only stuck around because I read the synopsis for the episode.
I can't see myself sticking around if the second episode is just as slow when I get around to watching it.
Resident Cosplay Progressive
Through the first two episodes:
- Liking the character development.
- Liking the development of both the main plot and the subplots.
- Solid acting all around.
Really looking forward to:
- The mysteries of Delaney's past being exposed.
- Delaney letting loose and killing a bunch of people.
Show keeps getting better. Last episode was great. Don't turn ye back on ole jack the ripper.
Finally caught up on the episodes. Really enjoying the characters and the imagery. Reminds me quite a bit of the styling of the dark Victorian imageryin Penny Dreadful, though this is technically Georgian. Can only imagine the bloodbath is going to deepen as Hardy and Jonathan Pryce face off.
Seems to be quite a bit of foreshadowing on the entire "Taboo" premise, those being incest and cannibalism. Thinking it might end with Hardy eventually eating his sister to "protect" her. Oona Chaplin is going to be the queen of unfortunate deaths on TV.
Oh hey! They're going to my hometown next season

Haven't watched the season ender yet. It's a good show that's a bit plagued by somewhat poor character development and inconsistent storyline outside of the main arc. Still, worth watching.
Thought it was a lead balloon. Tom Hardy grunting and talking in his bane voice. Soon as I saw Stephen Graham i was like fuck yea theres a good actor. But the show was slow, boring, obvious and underdeveloped.

Poor old Jonathan Price - always getting blown up.
I was thinking to start to watch it. But I don't like the theme of the tv series, what a pity :/ Because I love Tom Hardy ;/

For the most part I enjoyed the first season. At times the story seemed to be a bit unnecessarily slow up until the end. The final episode felt very rushed; so many loose ends were tied up so quickly. Regardless, I hope to see a second season.
