Classes with good utilities for Mythic+ dungeons

Since I don't know every spec that well, can someone with more experience and knowledge rank specs being the most useful to least useful in terms of utilities in mythic+ dungeons? My main is ww, beside great AOE, ww has party speed boost, an aoe stun, paralyze for cc, and i think that's it

    Shamans
    range interrupt on short cooldown.
    aoe stun on medium cooldown.
    Purge
    Hex
Earthquake (ele spec) = aoe that knocks down enemies (one can overlap 2-3-5 whatever, which makes short work of packs.)
Thunderstorm (ele spec) = aoe knockback and 40% slow

    Death Knight:
    Combat Res, Grip, Sindragosa' Fury
    Good AOE. Control Undead (BRH)

  4. #4
    Fury Warrior:

Shockwave for that sweet sweet stun. (Combined with the haste ring)
    Decent AOE
Also the shout to slow down the enemies for a short time. Good for the debuff where the mele stacks on the tank

    Assa rogue:

    +Extreme survivability
    +AoE slow all the time
    +Sap
    +tricks of the trade
    +Mass stealth (with 715)
    +Blind (with 715)
+Very good dmg controll in aoe/cleave situations (for bolstering for example)
-overall dps dependend on correct legendaries

    Shadow:

    - good AoE stun with short cooldown (30 sec cd, 4 sec stun)
    - offheals and shields, + embrace a small heal cd
    - mind control (very nice to deny bolstering stacks on groups with many little monsters + a big guy)
    - silence (long cd but you dont have to interrupt a cast to silence them)
    - good self sustain, especially with the shield trait from artifact weapon
    - you can cc undead, rarely needed, i use it for HoV when the 4 guys before endboss spawn adds
    - fade for skittish, not to big of a deal, but comes in handy

Shaman also have a persistent area AoE slow with Earthbind Totem, new in a recent hotfix.

In reality you want AOE burst, AOE stuns and bloodlust.Thats why so many groups have shamans at all. Elemental is one of the strongest m+ specs because EQ is extremely strong as described to interrupt casts. And it is a ranged spec.

Fury at least offers shockwave. Thats it. I try to never pick a shadow or fury warr. Rogues only as outlaw.

DH - 1 AOE cool down, stuns for 4 seconds. Almost every spell has some form of AOE from it, making them one of the strongest for keystone

Enchancement Shaman - aoe stun.. not sure how long it last, a slow i believe, ton of aoe

Shadow Priest - really good for trynical. their single target is #1 at the moment

Resto druid - ton of aoe healing, Vortex to slow, and a push bag or entanglement (good for nerotic)

BM Hunter. Especially nice if no mage/shaman around. If you have lust, BM can bring brez.

hunters and rogues for skittish week for threat misdirection

  12. #12
    BM hunter > Volcanic.

Quick breakdown video with ranks based on Utilities.

    TLDR, Elemental>DK>Hunter>Rouges=Mages

No because Stealth isn't Invisbility, and almost all the trashs people usually skip with invi are not skippable with simple stealth.

Usually all trash except the giants in EoA are skippable with normal stealth. But you are right, the first times ppl will doing it wrong and running through adds.

Pretty sure the Bats+final pack in DHT will not be doable with the rogue aoe stealth.
The trashs before first boss in BRH, I'm not convinced either
The ones below Opera for Nightbane ? Surely not.

Also, the Shroud is 15sec, the invi pot is 18sec. Those 3 sec probably make a big difference in some spots.

Only the brh trash will be tricky without a speed buff, because 15sec could be a prob. Rest is no prob.

Without speed buff bats + last pack are not skippable even with the pot in dht. The last pack is easily doable with normal stealth. Too many groups tried it to dodge bats + last pack and it was an disaster every time :-). The time to move from the bats to the last pack is already 15 sec. Its minimum 5sec to low duration for invis pot and 8 to 10secs for aoe stealth.

You can skip the last 2-3 packs of DHT by suicide running into xavius room with a shaman reincarnate or soulstone. You can use the same strategy on the last run of trash in BRH with the ghost lancers+swordsmen.

we talked about stealth/invis skip, not suicide.
