i seriously dont why the arena event isnt also bonus to rated arenas, i hate how they have gimped pvp, while pve gets everything (better ap rewards, more gear, the dungeon bonus event also applies to mythic dungeons). no wonder why there are less people pvping now than in any other expansion, pvpers don't get any reward.

Not to mention that the end reward you get from finishing the thing is 1000 honor, which isn't even enough for one honor level.

How did you do that? I've been doing arenas every week (3vs3) and finished the daily bg nearly every day and so far the only items I'm using from those are two 870 trinkets. And I dinged in september. Gotten a whole lot of trinkets and sometimes a necklace or a relic and I dinged in september.

Edit: although it says you dinged that char 30/8/2016. Not that that would defy that mad rng.

I'm grinding my final pvp prestige rank on my Rogue and it's fun against casters but also sucks against melee.

RBGs have really high item drop rate. There are many pugs in LFR tool for that.
30/8/2016 is for my main char.
All that pvp gear is legion season 2.

I personally love when my teammates don't show up, you have a chance to 1v2 if they are new to PvP, which is always fun and if you lose oh well aye time is 2 min )
