Question Need help on upgrading or not.

    Hello I am currently running

    CPU - i7 2700k 3.5GHz
    Motherboard - ASRock P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3
GPU - MSI GeForce 560TI Twin Frozr
    Corsair HX750W Power Supply
    G.SKILL 8GB Ram
(using a 24" 1080p Monitor if it helps)

I can still run most games fine expect of course the newer more graphically powerful ones. So my question is should I just upgrade my GPU or are my specs that outdated that is it worth doing a completely new build. I play all my games on PC if that helps (FPS , RTS, MMO , RPG, ect everything unless it's console exclusive lol) I'm hoping a GPU upgrade will be enough as I will have to wait till next year for a full rebuild if recommended so to add on to my question if a rebuild is necessary will a GPU upgrade get me through the year okay. Can't waste all my money at once with a little one to take care of haha.

    Thanks in advance!.

Edit: Silly Side question I'm using a Samsung SyncMaster 2443BWX monitor my friend telling me a upgrade would be huge as my monitor is ancient but I figured it's still 1080p it can't be that bad or is it? He brags a lot about his 1080p 144hz.

If its still running fine id just do a GPU upgrade, you didnt mention a budget but even a 100 dollar gtx 1050 would be a huge upgrade over a 560ti.
