Should the US President regularly post opinions on Twitter?

Either people are allowed freedom of speech/expression or not, take your pick. People seem to be on this kick of who is allowed to have freedom of speech/expression and who is not, really sad.

In some ways it does make him look childish but on the flip side it also offers him a way of getting ahead of the media on stories without having to be asked 50 questions by giving a formal press conference. He did pretty much help shut down congress trying to do away with the ind ethics committee with only a couple tweets. I think twitter works for him whether people like it or not. He just needs to moderate his use of it.

Moderate? He needs his aides to lock down that shit... again. He is obviously like a spoiled child (kinda like Cartman), who just lashes out at anyone he doesn't like with no regard or understanding of what he is doing. The fact that his bullying tactics are working, here and there, should be of grave concern to anyone sane. This is how Hitler and Mussolini came to power.

I don't think there's anything wrong with communicating to the people directly via Twitter for certain things or even their opinions but foreign relations should not be addressed through Twitter. It's insanely unprofessional and unfitting for the leader of the free world and not to mention dangerous.

Well, admittedly I have little knowledge of such things. But does a little bit of humor make up for a whole lot of cancer? Which is pretty much how I view Twitter (all social media really).

Its not even that the service themselves are inherently bad, but the way they get used is just sad really.

Come on now, you are acting like someone who believes shit like that just because its the cool thing to think right now. The gap between Trump using twitter and Hitler/Mussolini is so large you could drive 5000 tanks through it. Trump using twitter isn't some horrible thing in and of itself. Some people just can't handle the way he uses it and you'll just have to get over it. Stop acting victimized over everything Trump says or does.
