Can't use Artifact Power?

Since 7.1.5, I can no longer use Artifact Power tokens. My weapon is maxed out at 54 traits, but before 7.1.5, i could still click it and it would add to my AP counter. Now it just says "Item can not be modified." Is this intentional? What am I supposed to do with my AP tokens?

put into your other weapons. they hotfixed it right after 7.1.5. since i guess they dont want people to save up for 7.2 traits.

if you want to save AP for 7.2 you can store the AP items in your bank, there's enough time to fill up 3 bags with nothing but 100K+ AP items, that will get you at least a jump start with 7.2 comes out.
