    Need advice on computer build.

Budget- Around 1400$ USD This build is $1338.03
    Resolution - 1440p
Game Settings - Mostly Overwatch but I Want a computer that can run ultra on new games for a bit.
    Just for gaming
    Country - USA
    OS - Yes
    No Peripherals Needed

This is a build I made on Pcpartpicker using pieces that I know I wanted or were Highly Rated.

    CPU Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
    Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
    Storage Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Dual Video Card
Case Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

Overall I just need to make sure I am getting the right parts. I am looking to see if i can save money any where so if there's something that doesn't need to be that high in performance I would love to shave a bit off. Also I need to make sure that my computer will be properly cooled and anything else important. I am not very good with computers and appreciate any advice / help you guys can provide . THANK YOU!

Seems legit. However, you do not actually need an i7 processor in this setup. Unless you plan video encoding at the same time, very likely your bottleneck will be the 1060 GPU. Basically, you can shave off the price a little by getting an i5 6600k. You can overclock it if a need arises and you change your GPU to a more powerful version, to match and surpass stock i7 6700k performance. But in this setup, very likely there will not be a difference between these two.
Also, this machine will not produce stable 60+ FPS in newer titles like Battlefield on Ultra settings even in 1080 resolution. For 1440 you do need 1070 / 980Ti if we are talking max settings.

May be able to downgrade the i7 to a i5, and lower the PSU from a 750 to a 500-600~, with a possibly raise from a 1060 to a 1070?

Might be a bit too close, though...

Likely the difference is going to be minimal as you say. Only if you plan to overclock from the start, this option makes sense. But basically, a 1060 card will not need more than an i5 6600k for general gaming purposes at 1080 resolution. For 1440 you will likely need 1070. But a more powerful GPU like 1070 is not going to be utilised fully on a stock 6600k. Even if you overclock it, stability may suffer in some of the newer titles. So you either go i5 6600k with a 1060 card, or cough up extra for i7 6700k with a 1070 card. First option is great if you are content with 1080 resolution. The second is for 1440 and higher. Ultra settings of course.

No, for 1080 you will not have to overclock anything with the i5 6600k, and very likely will not notice a difference between an i5 and your primary i7 choice. However, you said that you have the 1440 resolution monitor. 1060 GPU is not sufficient for that if you plan ultra graphics settings in newer titles.
    Short version:
    1080 gaming - go for i5 with 1060 card.
    1440 gaming - go for i7 with 1070 card.
    Video encoding (e.g. streaming) at 1080 - i7 with 1060 is enough
Video encoding (e.g. streaming) at 1440 - i7 with 1070 is a minimum, might need 1080 for best performance

I you dont want to overclock, get a normal CPU SKU and not a "k" version. Saves you a bit of money, and you dont need anything than the stock cooler on those tbh. You will be able to run most games at max in 1080 with that setup

You don't need an i7 for 1440p gaming. An i5 is fine with a gtx1070.

Yeah I have decided to go with the I5-6600k and 1070 and just stick with 1080p. I don't have the 1440p monitor yet and didn't realize that 1080p was the highest resolution for console gaming so that helped my decision. thx every1
