This is pretty much an annual ritual at this point. The bill won't pass, but Trump's miniature army is doing what the people are expecting of them.

Not on even vaguely the same scale, and international charities often rely on the UN to enable and assist in their efforts.

I mean this forum is routinely full of people talking about things they don't understand, but this is extreme even by the usual measure,

Oh I don't understand what exactly? That WHO manages those things you mentioned and the US measly 7-8% contribution to that budget is going to somehow cause WHO to not be around anymore? You don't think they couldn't get that 100 or so million from a charity or the private sector? Get out of here! Maybe you should know what you are talking about before saying that to others?

The league of nations was going to fail regardless though.

But there is a difference between creating and not even joining and creating, joining and then leave because of reasons.
