Given the key strategic importance such an island would hold to US sea power - the calls for invasion by the uninformed would be overwhelming. Naming the island 'Murica would confuse the uninformed long enough for me to get in touch with the US government, offer an alliance, and a nice bay for them to stick a military base - nullifying the need for invasion.

I get what is going on here, but this is excessive. I already moved five of your threads earlier. Trump is a big thing right now with the inauguration having just passed four days ago, but spamming the forum with pointless threads in an effort to push those threads out is not acceptable.
