Legendaries for offspec - idea

Many says that legion is not alt friendly. I my opinion alts are fine in legion, but what i really dont like is the legendary system for offspec!

How many got a legendary for wrong spec by mistake?
How many times did you play your offspec with loot specialisation for your main, because of legendaries and therefore denying your loot (specific trinkets, stats, etc.) for your offspec?
How many wants to reroll spec, but cant because of legendaries?
How many all legendaries they need for your main spec and wants some for offspec?

I, for example, am lucky enough to have all legendaries i need/want for my main spec and i would love to get my next for offspec, while not running with tank loot on my dps toon and lose gear!

An idea is to make legendaries class specific, in sted of spec, but that is most likely not going to happen. So i have other idea, that is much easier to implement.

Make a npc (shady goblin or kirin tor mage?) that for a small amount of gold, he could "reroll" your legendary. How would it work?
1. You pick a spec specific legendary item and give it to the npc
2. You chose a loot spec your want a legendary from
3. You will get a random legendary from your chosen loot spec
4. You can reroll how many legendaries as you want, but only one time per item!
5. You can't reroll legendaries that many specs/classes can use, like sephus, to prevent tradeing a "bad" legendary for a chance of better one.

With this "shower idea" i was trying to make offspec more friendly and deny abusing this system that best i could.
What do you guys think?

This isn't really an off-spec idea, but rather a "change your spec forever" idea. Not to mention you don't even know if you'd end up with even worse legendaries for the other spec that you would be force to play from now on. And if you make any changes to that, it would most likely end up in system abuse with people getting their bis legendaries in matter of hours/days depending on the changes.

A more simple solution would to just have legendary items be a "Mysterious Powerful Artifact" when you win one, and right clicking it rolls the legendary, that way you can change your spec to what kind of legendary you're trying to get.

I dont think you understand the point here. Every spec has 5-ish spec specific legendaries. You can use 2 at the time and most of the times 2-3 are the best/you will ever use. So if you have all 5 of them, you could reroll onces you dont use to your offspec.
And about the abuse, thats why a legendary will be "locked out" after 1 reroll. So you cant reroll a legendary forth and back till you get the one you want

title says "legendaries for offspec" but your idea is "legendaries for new main spec", that's the issue. One-way ticket that has a chance to be punishing.

I'd rather there were just more legendarys that worked for multiple specs, especially for pure dps.

Like, warlocks have THREE different sets of bracers - I'd rather there was just ONE set of bracers that did something different for each spec like a tier item, likewise we have multiple cloaks / shoulders etc. It'd be so much less punishing if they worked across specs and just did different things.

I haven't even managed to get a good legendary for one spec, let alone two for 3 different specs that I'm kinda expected to be able to play as a warlock. The AP grind is annoying enough when trying to play three specs without also needing 6 good legendaries.

IN the next expansion they will learn from their mistakes and there will be the legendary vendor and you all will be farming Legendary Valor.
