Maybe Ukraine and Britain could work out a deal.
You do realize that the Russian "aggression" started after Maidan, which was generously supported by US/EU parties with goal to weaken the ties between Russia and Ukraine?

    Dude. Stop.

This is a damned if you do and damned if you don't thing with you.

If the EU allowed Ukraine to flood the market with cheap eggs, you would be here bitching about how the EU destroyed Bulgarian/Romanian/Polish/whatever farmers because it failed to enforce its quotas.

    Stop it.

Again, they are not in the EU. When will the world learn that the EU is primarily there to make sure the EU countries get the best deals on the planet? It's not a welfare system. It's hardly even a political system. What they offered was "a future in Europe", not "free money instantly, without sharing the burden of the EU members". I get it, you expect Germany to pay for your villa, Rolls Royce, the Yacht and a small army of prostitutes with bags of cocaine, but you will be disappointed at how selfish the EU actually is every single time. And yes, that's how the EU is designed. To look out for the economic interests of the EU member states. Even your sorry little excuse of a state is profiting heavily from it. Even if you don't have yout yacht. Ungratefulness won't get you sympathies, Cybran. Get with the program.

The chancellor said German civil society was also "very much involved" in Ukraine and promised that "the democratisation of Ukraine will not fail because of lack of support from our side."

Both Merkel and Tusk ruled out sanctions so long as the EU is seeking to mediate between the two sides.

But Tusk admitted that as a neighbouring state, Poland is drafting contingency plans in case civil war breaks out in Ukraine.

"The countries bordering Ukraine, particularly the countries of the Visegrad group [Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic] are of course preparing for various scenarios," Tusk said.

According to The Book of Cybran, it goes kinda like this: European problems are Germany's fault. World problems are the US' fault. By proxy, European problems are so also the US' fault, but less so, since Germany is the proxy. So he is logically consistant in blaming the Ukraine situation on both Germany and the US, whatever suits his argument the most at the time, with a clear emphasize on Germany.

Just for a bit of nuance here.

http://www.economist.com/news/financ...ate-still-edge While things are still hard, it's not as apocalyptic as Cybran makes it out to be, especially not for a country that is effectively at war with Russia.

Supporting a democratic movement isn't instigation to a civil war. Did you see the next sentence talking about Tusk and Merkel trying to mediate? That's what the EU does. Make deals, compromises. That backwater third world countries don't understand how modern democracy functions is a problem, but hardly ours. Again, I point out that the Ukraine is not part of the EU. We cannot force them to do or not do something. All we can do is suggest and offer deals and agreements.

Nah, it's just him trying to spin that Germany is ripping off yet another country on top of his own. You interpret too much genial argumentation into his words. Go simpler. He hates Germany. This matter doesn't interest him beyond that he can somehow pin it on Germany. Cybran doesn't give two fucks about the Ukraine.

Everything else is a snow ball from there.

You surely have a source on this?

And before you quote them... not RT or any other propaganda machine. :P

Indeed. He is a special case.
It's hard to top the entitlement and victim complex of slavs, and that is coming from someone with Polish parents.

And the saddest thing? When things improve they get the urge to wreck their shit again because they buy into propaganda that fuels their complex.

Please, explain me what kind of scenario do you imagine in which Germany does not have more weight in negotiations than Bulgaria or Belgium.

I really don't get this hatred of Ukrainian néo-nazis. The only thing they ever did is lionized by most Putin supporters, AKA brutally murdering Jews. And Pole.

So... you interpret McCains poor judgement of associates with "They [McCain and Tusk] instigated the riots and reprisal attacks on Russian speakers who are a minority there."

You know, that's more than sketchy. That's outright lying. :P
