If I buy Steam copy and I already have original, can I give the key to someone else?

Bit of a weird issue; I already bought FFXIV awhile back but have since quit and am now on a new computer. I'm curious to know, if I buy FFXIV + Heavensward on Steam (convenience of always being on Steam), would I get an extra account code that I could give to someone?

Or, is there a way to put your original FFXIV key(s) into Steam, and not through the "non-Steam Game" way?
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.

never mess with ff14 steam. horror stories abound of people not being able to get expansions until post release instead of at release, basically a shit show due to how SE does thier business.

I stand corrected then, I only remember a lot of people did have trouble with sorting out that they bought it on steam then couldnt get the expansion at first because they preordered non steam.
