He's a "celebrity" second to a businessman. So that is how they can ask that question.....

To answer the question OP, I don't put any more value in some rich persons opinion who doesn't know anything about struggle or hardship or poverty. I also don't watch reality TV. I don't read gossip sites. I don't read gossip magazines, etc.

So I guess I am not the typical low-information citizen they are trying to "join their side". (I don't care which side a celebrity is on)

I feel like we give these people way too much attention, which they crave, and spotlight. But then again, a vast majority of the population is extremely dumb and this makes them feel better about their lives.

Well if they're running for office thats one thing. Realistically, most people like to hear other people's opinions in general, and celebrities are not only accessible but usually better at articulating things than the general public.

It would help if they didn't spend all their time being wrong though.

Just as muich point as anyone elses opinion on the matter that resides in this thread. The only difference is they have a platform that reaches around the globe. We only have the MMO Champion off topic forums. That in the long run does equal a lot of pull on a lot of people. Sure not everyone. Most intellegent people make up their own minds. But you have to remember most people in the world are the type that if they get told something enough they will eventually believe in it.
