Escaping WPvP infight with phasing

Hi there,

some player is currently discussing a new behavior during WPvP where players are phasing out when defeat is near. He suspects that those players use 3rd party addons like world quest helper to escape a fight (he got four escapers in half an hour and so doesn't believe they all got a lucky LFD/R invite) and calls this cheating (like duping an item).
I don't want to discuss if WPvP itself is fair but since when is it possible to switch a realm infight? And do you support his opinion that this is cheating? Or just "clever use of game mechanics" like realm hopping during WoD?

I had a Blood Elf DK disappear on me a couple times during the Murloc one earlier today. At first I thought it was shadowmeld...because a Night Elf Druid I was fighting at the same event use that to try and get away. Is there some other explanation for this? Some sort of consumable or special item they could be using?
