People were able to talk politely and peacefully when face to face with opposing views. Which I don't even find remotely surprising. People mostly frothe and troll when hiding behind internet.

They perfectly understand. Left wingers don't think, they just feel. Every left wing agenda is about feelings, emotions, victimization and hate. You want them to understand left wing thinking meanwhile the second sentence in every argument is that they are whitepriviligedrapistmisagonisticracistxenofobenazis just because they think with their brain and not with their hearth? Yeah, that helps a lot

Oh darling, you are completely out of touch with reality

And the tiny fraction for whom heroic raids are currently well tuned? Too bad,so sad! With the arterial bleed of subs the fastest it's ever been, the vanity development that gives you guys your own content is no longer supportable.

Because urban people are simple to understand and there isnt much to them.
If you remove New York City, then the GOP wins New York. That doesn't make much sense. Of course, if you take all the liberals out of a state, then the conservatives will vote conservative.

You just showed why the EC is a terrible idea.

I grew up in a tiny, conservative town. It was beautiful, and the pace was slow. It's not a bad way to live. I've also lived in a city. It's fast-paced, there's always something to do, and you get to experience more in life. It's also not a bad way to live. Now, I live in a suburb. i have a really low crime rate in my town, good schools, and I own a sweet minivan. It's also not a bad way to live. The politics of those areas are significantly different, and I would take the politics of a suburb over the other two. Cities are loaded with bureaucratic bullshit. Rural areas are very easily taken in by corruption, and are more prone to social ostracizing as a from of coercion.
