NPR is about the most unbiased news organisation you have... check the article itself for sources.

I agree that they are one of the most unbiased state ran media sources. But, that still puts them in the company of RT, and not in the company of credible sources, that are not state controlled.

Trump is still milking the scapegoat train heavily to cover up for the fact that he has no plan forward. He's trying to buy himself time to come up with an idea before people realize that "keeping all the brown people out" didn't really do anything to improve their lives.

Why - because it is free of ownership control of content.

Don't confuse ownership with freedom ... BBC (UK government owned) is one of the most reputable news sources on the PLANET, and they go after their own government as often as not because they have freedom of editorial.

The majority of funding does not come from the states or local governments. That's about 6% of the total funding, if you don't count grants.
