Guild Name: The Seven Serpents
Faction: Alliance
Website: www.sevenserpents.wowlaunch.com
Looking for: Raiders for our HC Nighthold team and anyone else who would suit our guild.

About us:
The Seven Serpents is a project based guild, which means we seek to create content for one another. We propose ideas for projects and events that the guild should participate in (raiding, pvp, alt levelling etc.) and support each other in making these things happen. Anyone in the guild can initiate a project for everyone to be involved in, and we actively encourage members to try out new ideas. Our unique system has proven to be a real success since the guild was founded over a year ago, and we look forward to expanding it further.

Raiding:
9PM – 11PM Tuesday / 8:30PM – 11PM Sunday (Server Time)

Our main priority is to build on the recent successes of our raiding project (7/7 EN, 3/3 ToV, 10/10 NH normal, 2/10 NH HC). We have recently begun heroic Nighthold and would be very keen to expand our raid team. While we are a casual guild that ensures raiding does not feel like a full-time job, we still want to progress as a team and will expect a certain level of effort from all participants. This means that you will need to read tactics in advance and have a good idea of the mechanics of each fight prior to the raid. You will also need to know how to play your chosen spec and role to the best of your ability. We also need you to be able to listen on Discord. It’d be great if you can talk as well, but we understand that some people are shy.

As part of your participation in the project, your raiding flasks, food, and potions will be provided for you if you complete a weekly “raid quest” set by the GMs to contribute some mats to the guild bank. You will need to complete a quest every week. Ultimately, this saves us all a lot of money for raid materials on the auction house!

Classes we would be particularly interested in recruiting
We will consider applicants from all classes and specs. However, we have a shortage of the following that we would be very keen to address.

• Ranged DPS: Hunter (BM/Marks), Priest (Shadow), Shaman (Elemental),
• Melee DPS: Demon Hunter (Havoc), Hunter (Survival), Rogue, (Any spec), Shaman (Enhancement), Warrior (Arms/Fury)
• Healers: Monk (Mistweaver), Druid (Restoration), Priest (Discipline), Paladin (Holy)

While you will not be forced to play any particular spec or role, we would appreciate it if any hybrid-class players would be willing to have a healing/tanking offspec. If players are only willing to stick to one role, then mechanics can make it difficult to accommodate all players each week (e.g., too many healers/tanks), so flexibility will certainly help your cause.

Other projects and events

As mentioned above, we are a project-based guild that does a variety of things in game in addition to raiding. Here are some of the things we have done so far:

• Seasonal Cheer: We make the most of the in game seasonal holidays by participating in them with our own added twist. As an example, our recent Winter Veil event included a guild snowball fight and a transmog competition. We have video footage of this, which you can find here: https://youtu.be/bN1qP5_JgSA
• PvP: We often schedule PvP events, including battlegrounds, arenas and war games. This is done in good spirits in the full knowledge that none of us are ever going to be the best PvPers. If you’ve ever wanted to try out some casual PvP now and then with friends, then sign up to this project!
• RP: We have hosted RP events in the past. Most recently, we did have done an open-mic night at in Booty Bay and a food tasting evening in Pandaria. Both have amassed quite an audience and resulted in many of our characters becoming severely intoxicated.
• Horde alt night: We have Horde alts which we a few times per month on the Steamwheedle Cartel server. This allows us to see things from the Horde perspective while not detracting from our mains on Alliance.
• Into the Storm: Fancy playing other Blizzard games? On Thursday nights we play one of Diablo III, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, or Hearthstone each week. This allows us to have some extra variety in our gaming sessions.

If you have any other ideas for events, feel free to specify them when you make your application! The more creative the better!

What we expect from you:

• To fully appreciate and accept the concept and rules of the guild.
• To be kind, considerate, and actively participate in our guild.
• To be respectful of the efforts that others put in to ensure we all have a great time in game. This means participating in some of the aforementioned events (although we do not expect people to participate in all of them!)
• For raiders: to be prepared.

What you can expect from us:

• A close community of people who form genuine friendships, and who always extend the warmest of welcomes to new people.
• A well-organised project and event system that means you can explore multiple facets of the game.
• A place where you can demonstrate your creativity and unique ideas.

If all of this appeals to you, then please leave us an application at: www.sevenserpents.wowlaunch.com.
