    That doesn't really make sense, Aspergillus spores are pretty common and I doubt smoking week makes a person any more susceptible than one who smokes cigarettes. Are cigarette smokers also being taken off the list?

    In every case I saw here, yes. You have to quit smoking for 12 months to enter the list and maintain that while on the list.

    The spores can survive fire, so I don't think edibles would help. Besides, aspergillosis is very lethal to people with no immune systems, so why take the risk?
