Doesn't look like they ever fixed the fact it's only a 0.5% to 1% damage increase? Any AP grinders out there manage to get it yet?

Just got trait and been hitting a dummy, snakes are doing 1-2% of my total damage but have not tested it enough to confirm anything. Feels very RNG as you can get 2-4 snakes per proc and takes on average 10 cobra shots to proc it. The auto attacks were hitting for 6k and 12k crits, the venom hit for 168k-180k and never crit. The venom does not seem capable of criting, not sure if this is a bug or intended.

Update: The venom is scaling equally with Mastery and AP but does not scale with bestial wrath.
