I really don't dislike Tracer at all, I should play her a lot more than I do; I keep promising myself I will then I just end up playing Widow, Sombra and DVa anyway. I do think she gets a bit too much attention though, even for the poster girl.

I love Tracer in the lore but there's 20-something goddamn other characters, most of which they haven't bothered to even include in any video.

I feel like this time around it may actually make sense for her to be actively involved in the event somehow given her character's background and the map in question. I do agree with you when it comes to previous events, though. Especially when there's heroes who don't tend to get a very good deal when it comes to new skins and other goodies.

i'm confused by the sentiment. She got 1 more piece of media than other heroes (as the mascot thats pretty low) and 3/4 of a skin per event.

anyways as others said Kings row. Kinda where she lives. Next thing people will complain that Mercy is the one with the Swiss outfit...

Yes, clearly Kings Row was just randomly selected and they were simply forced to use Tracer because of it.

Yes, clearly did they select Kings Row just to make a Tracer Skin for the new event and not because it was the Location of the Omnic Riot.

Yeah, again, because setting it on King's Row and picking the Omnic Riot as the event were entirely random and somehow forced upon them. There clearly weren't any other lore events they could have chosen which have maps associated with them.

you really have the mindset that they would even DISCUSS "nah we cant do this event do another first so we cant make a Tracer Skin"
They have a set shedule for events which they then make skins for which they seem fitting.

In game events are not tied to a real world calendar, they can happen literally whenever the hell Blizzard wants them to happen. I mean, everyone was predicting the 'in game' event would be tied to the Numbani thing, this King's Row Omnic thing pretty much came from nowhere.

They've pretty much confirmed Widowmaker's getting a new skin now, and that's who I'm mostly interested in; but there are other heroes that haven't had much either, but Tracer who I've been playing more of recently, who I don't dislike, has had an unfair share of the limelight - I'd say Zenyatta and Reinhardt had too.

I understand where you come from and I wish skins for Widow too since shes awesome and needs love too because she was friggin awesome in Alive. I just dont get the hate because when someone gets a skin since 11 other heroes will get a skin too. And as you said Zenyatta and Rein are "loved" ones too. But I just guess thats because they seem fitting to the event and not because they hate a hero. If I should have to decide a new Skin I could probably name few for tracer but for Zarya? I wouldnt even know.

Also the Event video was posted and people complained about the Tracer skin that's why I reacted a bit harsh I guess because of the "even theme" thing. Since its lore heavy and with the new comic its just as I suspected a important moment for lore so thats why I stand with my statement when everyone said "uhh why kings row it will just be a new tracer skin mimimi".

I hope we get a Lacroix Widowmaker skin. I would love that to death.

I wouldn't say King's Row event came from nowhere, Omnic rights has been a foundation of the story and on KR you are escorting an EMP to the underground omnic city. If you pay attention to the lore it makes perfect sense.
