t20 4pc affliction lock, how it works?

it procs the haste buff if i overlap 2 malefic grasp ( extending its duration ) and interrupt in in the middle of channeling but having channeled the same time as i didnt extended?

example : I cast MG which i have 4.5 channeling and then i extend it and it becomes 8 seconds. if i interrupt the channeling after completing 4.5 sec of channel ( MG channeling without extension equivalent ) will i receive the haste bonus?


If dont they should add it because players with high latency needs to extend MG abit so we dont lose the last tick of UA.
