While I support some gated content, their approach to 7.2 is far too heavy-handed. It's fine to delay the raid with Nighthold being so fresh, but we should be unlocking outdoor content at a much faster rate IMO.

Take a break from politics once in awhile, it's good for you.
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
It's fine. I leveled up some alts during 7.1.5, so now that there's plenty to do again I am barely keeping up. I really don't feel gated at all, unless you mean reputation requirements, etc., which have always been part of the game. Whadayawant - to have everything handed to you day one?

No iam not
I dont like the fact the Mage tower blew up just as i was gonna give that new chally boss a go this weekend.
Also dont talk to me about that fucking invasions!

I couldn't care about it. It's not a game-breaking effect on me, still a normal week in the life of WoW.
What is tank?
"The basic idea of a tank is well understood. It works like an argument with my mother. The mobs keeps beating on you, and the more you throw it's own shit back at it, the more it focuses on you and hates you. Perplexing enough, this is actually not only your goal, but the mob eventually gives you loot and money when it dies instead of writing you out of its will." (Senotay)
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." -- William Shakespeare
As others have said, doesn't effect me in the slightest. People have to realize, this patch is just out EARLY. There is no way there were releasing everything this patch has this soon, so you should be happy you got some of it now, and have more to look forward to.
Its actually a genius system, but everyone wants to be idiots and stuff and act like Blizzard stole something from me.
There has never been a single time I've ever looked at anything in this game as "gated." In fact, I'm HAPPY they don't just throw 11 weeks of quests at me at once. I would burn the fuck out doing them all and get nothing else done.
Its WAY more healthy to release content this way. Anyone who thinks otherwise is impatient or doesn't care about the longevity of the game.

Absolutely not. The amount of gating they are doing in Legion is ridiculous. A completely disgusting way to get more sub money for nothing.

Honestly I'm still upset at all the people in MOP who no-lifed all those dailies on like 10 alts each day, which led to the current situation.
I am the one who knocks ... because I need your permission to enter.
I really don't mind it, I have plenty to do without the gated things, and it gives me something to look forward too.
It really isn't a big deal, there's so much content to do already.
There were threads about players being overwhelmed and having too much to do earlier on in Legion. It's not anything that people will ever agree on. At the end of the day having something to do and something new just around the corner is going to please more people than not. That's just common sense.
"...money's most powerful ability is to allow bad people to continue doing bad things at the expense of those who don't have it."
It was barely fine on day 0 but after blizzard nerfed the shit out of it has become really boring especially the nethershard nerf cba running around sentinex trying to tag mobs.
The mechanic behind the construction is really shitty, the timer for invasions (it's up since a week and i was able to barely do 2) and their actual contribution (0 rep, 0 legion supply) is mind boggling and negate any sense of progression, it's pretty clear that blizzard to rush it's schedule has put the bare minimum into BS and is also trying hard to make it last as long as possible.
Hopefully they wake up and fix this shit before hit the fan.
To be honest, yes.
Less locust swarming around consuming everything right away. If there was no gating, they would just be screaming for more anyways.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
I may be slightly meh about it because the Broken Shore doesn't have much to do in my book.
I'm not too engaged with the place, just go do some WQs and maybe kill a rare if I pass by. I miss having actual treasure to hunt for, like in the other zones, or achievements for a meta like the days of Isle of Thunder and Molten Front.
I don't mind waiting a week for a new bit of story, or not having the building benefits all the time. No worries.
But when the story is done and I'm not attempting the challenge, it's just a place I briefly visit for reputation.
depends - i dont have too much against it as long as its not retarded gating design like making invasions happen between 3 am and 9 am etc
its quite obvious to me that when Tomb lands there will be no new content till blizzcon so im not in too much hurry to devour it too soon as long as i get flying soon

I don't care.. so the poll is useless to me. What bothers me about the patch is that it has very little meat to it and just superficial griding. I had expected more after all the fuss they drummed up. In 3 weeks people will spend a 1 hour on the shitty isle Mk. III after the ID reset and not bother with it any more than doing the next quest in line, because they can fly and the place is pointless for anything else.

No. I hate two things in games:
1) Time gating
2) RNG gating
Simply because both are felt like exploiting me to milk more money from me. Time gating is felt like unfair DLCs - when game developer teases you via some small chunk of content, but if you want to see more - you have to pay extra money for it (in case of Wow - via your sub fee). RNG is felt like casino - it exploits game addiction to keep you doing useless things longer, than reward for this things actually worth. No matter, what you do - casino always wins. In most cases such artificial content stretching is more common for F2P games, but not for games, where players actually PAY for content.
I don't care about Wow 11.0, if it's not solo-MMO. No half-measures - just perfect xpack.
