So because of the fact the Mage Tower was up at the beginning of the week, I binge raided all of Emerald Nightmare on Raid Finder/Normal/Heroic on Tuesday/Wednesday and now I got this quest to kill Xavius for the legendary crafted gear and I can't do it because I'm saved... RIP me. but srsly why is this a thing...?

The Wisp and the Nightmare Quest
Back in my day, we killed bosses 400 times a day...uphill both ways...in the snow...and we fucking liked it. In related news, I hear that uninstalling WoW completely from your hard drive and then reinstalling it resets your RNG numbers. -septor

Have you tried killing him even though you are saved? It might work.

I did try doing Raid Finder again, saw two other players get the item and I got nothing...
