    she was alive during the worst of times and the best of times.

    It only gets worse from where we are so atleast she doesn't have to experience the next bad era.

    It truly is staggering to consider the changes to the world, and to daily life in her lifetime. Then, when you consider the exponential aspect of technology, imagine what the last person alive from the 20th century will have seen happen.

    Well I just think we live in golden era that isn't sustainable long term and eventually, especially considering recent tension and changes, something will happen. Doesn't mean tomorrow or next year, but definitively within my lifespan.
