There's only so much you can do before you start going into sci-fi territory. People have been waiting for a decent WW2 shooter for some time now, so I'm pleased to see this on the horizon.

Well this Call of Duty is going to be hella controversial, since in today's society Nazis are no longer considered the bad guys. A lot of players might get turned off because they don't want to shoot Nazis. The last couple of CoDs (Black Ops 2, Ghosts, Infinite Warfare) knew their audience and had us shooting dirty Mexican rapists or other illegal aliens (martians). Now those were opponents we could get behind and hate.

Black Ops 3? Yeah that game is fun, but its way too unrealistic and it gets old fast.

BF1? Yeah I can play that game all day long and never get bored.

While I do agree with you in general, have to ask: what could they implement in a shooter game that is "creative"? CoD goes future? Shit on by people. Going back to WWII where they started as? Uncreative.

I have no love for rehashed games, but there are times where I feel for developer companies.
