Build of the Month honest question

Is there any particular reason that the puppy level build recommends an aftermarket cooler and overclocking capable motherboard for a non-overclock-able CPU? 'Cause that seems kinda pointless.

The cooler isn't a significant cost to ensure lower temperatures. The motherboard allows you to upgrade to a better CPU later.

IMO i would never trust a non aftermarket cooler. Always buy one, There are base like 20$ models that have massive good reviews.

Base Intel coolers can best be described as "usually adequate". They keep the CPU from getting fatally warm during regular use and will, when the processor is pushed hard, give off a level of sound best described as "vacuum cleaner". Even a cheap tower cooler will be a good quality of life improvement if only for your ears.
    Super casual.
