    M Star Augur Icy Ejection

We had our first night of wipes on Star Augur and going through the logs. Is there an easy way to see direct healing from healers on Icy Ejection targets? Not just the deaths but the times they survived aswell. We seemed to have a lot of deaths to this, and running 4 healers, so seemed like a healing issue.

I'm not very good with warcraft logs, here's our link:

    Any help appreciated.

There may be an easier way but this is how I would do it.

Open this. It has a graph for icy ejection targets.

    https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...4true%24206936

Go to deaths. See who died. If they interest you, check their activity in healing/damage done to see when they got rez'ed.

Go to healing. Zoom in on the graph to the icy ejection points by drag+clicking your mouse. This is buggy and the graphs can sometimes dissapere.Just click reset zoom at the top and try again. You can click on and off players with the debuff on the graph (it may also show people out of your zoomed area).

Mouse over a healer to see who they healed during that time frame, and for how much.

Make sure that all raiders are popping personals on ejections and healing potions when below 50% hp. Healers must spot heal them asap as the last tick of icy ejections is dealing a lot (shatter).

Thanks for the help. Can somewhat see healing during debuffs with your method. Is there a way to specifically see all healing taken by those targets during their debuff, instead of healing done by healers?

I dunno if you want to nit pick that much about healing debuffs. Looking at death logs is usually fine? I looked at a couple early deaths from icy ejection + shatter and it seems like you'll take about 2mil dmg without any mitigation in about 1 second.

Basically just tell healers they have to keep people topped off for the first and second icy ejections.

I don't know if you guys are able to skip the 3rd icy ejection which comes out at 2:30, maybe not looking at the overall dps. I would suggest DPS to use their strongest personal defensive for the 3rd icy so healers have to burn less mana.

    Just as Dabiziom said.

The last tick deals something around 70%~80% damage. So ask people to pop cds and use health potions if they see they are below 80% health just before the last tick.

Also, spreading your healers might help. Set positions/regions for them during p2, to keep the entire room covered by healers range.

You can also use some raid CD's for that part (icy ejections just after first frost nova)

Try not to get too dependent on using damage reduction CD's during this phase, you are sure as shit going to need to have them up for fel phase!

Well...3rd icy, healers have to spot heal 9 people with icy at the same time. Its pretty impossible without personals.

Fel Nova does no damage if you're sufficiently near the edge and you only take major damage if you mess up and stand in Fel Flame. There should be no reason to save them for fel phase

Use CDs for them. Depending on your DPS and if you get the set after the third conjunction, you should be using raid CDs and personals for them. So just plan around however many you get. Generally the first couple sets won't need much, it's the later ones where you're getting 6 and 9 close together the start causing problems.

Fel phase does way less damage. The only way people are going to die in fel phase is if they stand to close to nova, or get stacks of the dot from running over the fire. The fel injection does less damage than the icy injection.

    Is this helpful? https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...24true%24false

That's all healing done to people with Icy Ejection on them, based on who did the healing (and you can hover over to see who they healed). Or https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...alse&by=target based on who received the healing, and you can hover over to see who healed them.

There is. Queries are your friend. Go to Queries -> check "Buffs or Debuffs" -> check "Only Match if Aura is Present on Target" -> enter Icy Ejection in Abilities -> change Pin Type to Filter -> click Create Pin. Ta-da, now you see precisely the healing done to people with Icy Ejection on them, no bugs, no fiddly zooming.

2nd icy, 9 people get it in waves of 3 over 15 seconds

3rd icy, 9 people get it in waves of 3 over 5 seconds, meaning 9 people with icy at the same time. Guilds doing Augur right now don't have the hero healers needed to track who's icy is expiring every 1.5 seconds. If every classes with the strongest personals and immunities use it on the 3rd, then the healers have a chance.

Icey Injection shouldnt kill anyone, if they stand in near it after their debuff goes off, then they die.

otherwise when they are top off , they go to 30%

What this person said. But you can also click on the healing tab and change 'done by source' to 'done to friendly' to see which players weren't receiving enough heals during Icy Ejection. Changing it to 'done by ability' allows you to break down which heals contribute the most and may enable you to help identify healers who aren't using optimal abilities at this crucial time in the fight.

You can also check who used correct defensives during this phase. Buffs tab. Scroll down and see who cast or gained what buff. Only Icy Ejection targets will be shown due to the filter pin created earlier. 100% uptime means that buff was up the entire time Icy Ejection was active.
