Couldn't find any other source for the news yet apart from this Finnish one.

Anyway, there is a mysterious epidemic in Liberia. 14 people have become sick and 8 of them are dead, 6 are still in intense care and very sick.

They don't know what disease it is. But it isn't ebola. It's something unknown and as deadly or even deadlier.

The deadliness is a secondary thing when it comes to spreading. Incubation and progression time and the severity of symptoms are more important.

Health care sucks in Liberia. The doctors probably get their education from Wikipedia. Its always these third world countries that get these so called mystery diseases, then the US cures them (like the Ebola people a couple years ago that they sent to hospitals in the US)

Liberian doctors are probably the best doctors in the world currently combating disease outbreaks. Fighting ebola for three years teaches you a trick or two.

I could be wrong but isn't the only real 'cure' for ebola just to make sure they have plenty of fluids and hope for the best. I'm sure there's more but without an actual cure that's really all that can be done.

They have been working on both a cure and a vaccine and both are showing promising results, especially the vaccine. Developing a drug that's used outside of research labs takes time, it's a slow process.

Which is my point. There's really nothing that can be done with Ebola beyond making sure the carrier is isolated and kept hydrated
