Soul Effigy vs Soul Conduit for Topping NH Charts

Looking at some guides they say SE is the correct raid build, while others say SC is the go-to. Warcraft Logs top DPS'ers seem to be running SC. What's the right talent? I don't like SE, but if it's a big increase I'll switch.

SE is more overall long term damage, but NH fights are short generally which makes SC better.

SC also just has the RNG factor of being better than SE anyway.

SE is more consistent damage and shards but that's why you see so many more top logs with SC. SC could give you 10% more shards over the course of a fight while SE gives 25% plus the increased damage (made up numbers). On the next pull, SC could give you 60% more shards with no change in play or gear. That god-rng pull is going to be a great parse assuming you play decent, and then we have warcraftlogs top 100.

Effigy is better but you do not have to use it in NH so generallly speaking if you do not have to use Effigy why use it is the gist of it. If you actually like Effigy you can use it though but it will literally just be a shard Bot.
