Why though, the consoles will still have exclusives. Unless youre in an area where good internet is a rare commodity then there's really no reason to do that.
OT: It honesty depends on the game. Right now I'm wishing I bought Mass Effect on PC. I like most shooters on PC as well. But sports games need to be on a console for me. So at the end of it, both!

I could not disagree more with your last statement. Console shooters are slowed down so you can keep up. Overwatch is a prime example of that. I played it on my friends Xbox and dominated with ease.
I should say 99% PC and not 100%. Console exclusives will draw me to a system. But I also spend a vast majority of my time on PS4 playing 3rd party titles.
If I lose the ability to buy hardcopy's (I am a collector) there is no sense in me IMO buying them for console anymore. Even more so when I can get them so much cheaper on PC.
To be honest it would all just depend cost.

Idk this is a tough one it definitely goes in waves for me...sometimes I'll prefer console, sometimes PC.
Recently, been using my xbox more as a home entertainment system, that also plays games.
While I use my PC (gaming desktop not my laptop) for essentially only games, and game related things. I can even use my xbox controlling for overwatch and certain games when I'm in that feeling. There is some reason I feel like my console is needed for games and will buy one once in a blue-moon but that more so for console specific games. For instance I want to buy a switch simply because of the new Zelda!

I like a little bit of both. I play primarily Blizzard games on the pc, but I also love playing a well crafted console game. Its nice to switch it up from time to time. I honestly don't buy that many games these days, so when I do, its one that I can get lost in for many play sessions. I enjoyed FFXV on my PS4 and loved Zelda on the Switch. I play a lot of WoW and Hearthstone on my PC. I can't say either one is better because they provide different experiences to me. Hell, my wife just loves watching me play through RPG or Adventure games on consoles.
PC - can't play flight sims on a console.
Both depending on my mood and type of game. For example a game I want to really immerse myself into like Skyrim then I'll play that on my PC as I find it easier to do that. On the other hand when I just want to relax and just play something like GTA5 then I'll play it on my PS4 instead.
Easy, if youre poor and PC dumb, settle for a console. If youre not poor and hvae basic PC knowledge, take advantage of the numerous advantages PC bring.

While discussing preferences constructively can be fine in theory, it is clear that people are not able to have dialogue on these kinds of matters without it devolving into us vs. them type discussion. There is a reason we typically don't allow these threads, so I am closing.
