is there a way to change the size of the type box?

Note *I posted in the interface and UI forum but lack of people viewing that section figured I would just repost here*

Just wondering if there was an add-on or something within the settings that I may have missed that would allow me the adjust the height of the type box or even better word wrap the text so the box adjusts automatically, as it not the easiest thing to edit when its on that one line scrolling and no easy way to go back and forth

I think you can make the type box longer if you extend the whole chatbox. You can also make your UI as a whole bigger, but I don't think you can change the size of certain UI elements independently.

There are loads of addons which change how the chatting ingame works, so be sure to try that if the things I mentioned don't work.
