fuck no i wouldn't.
fuck no i wouldn't.
Ehhhhh...
I'm not too attached to my country. While I think it's among the better ones, the idea of dying for a country (any country) is just not something I'd likely do. Patriotism is something I've yet to grasp. Then there's the issue of what I could even do in the first place. Never been to army due to depression. I guess I could drive a truck or something?
How do you mean "throw me under the bus?"
I'm not talking about us invading another country, im talking about another country invading the US. I'm not sure where you live in the US, but you seriously wouldn't pick up a gun if you saw the military of another country rolling down your street with the intent to take control of your neighborhood/city/state etc?
Yes and no.
Yes, because I'd be patriotic and defending freedom.
No, because my sacrifice would be taken for granted eventually.
Are we talking flying a jet in to a space ship with Randy Quaid or dying in a desert because reasons?
A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.
Die for my country? Hell to the naw, die for my family? yes.
I believe the people in the US you are talking about aren't even liberals to begin with. It is all about pushing their own agendas and power up their influence and egos. Being "liberal", in the true sense of the word, doesn't mean one has to take everything that is thrown at them for granted or accept whatever they come across.
No even though i'm planning to join the military, its just for a few years to earn some good money then i'm leaving Europe
Would it work? how long is my country saved for? What happens if I don't save my country? Can it wait till after the new Blade Runner?
If you mean would I jump into the meatgrinder for my country with nothing to show for it; nah, not really.
If I have the chance to relocate somewhere else instead, then no. It may be unpatriotic but I would rather carry on living somewhere else than throw my life away.
