Nah it's not. Gorillas are interesting to study and there are only a fraction of them around compared to humans. So sacrificing humans to save gorillas kinda make sense if we want to learn more about our own spicies. Destroying our environment just because it happends to be less intelligent than us, well THAT is stupid
Don't be silly, now. A human life is worth exponentially more than a gorilla life, so the math works out beautifully.

Not really there are 7+ billion of us, the majority of us are going to be drones doing meaningless work till we die. There are far fewer Gorillas on the earth meaning each one is far more valuable than an individual human. This doesn't even include the fact they think and feel just like we do. Unless you are a cutting edge scientist or something you really wont bring anything of value to society with your life, it won't really matter when you die. The death of every single Gorilla matters with their diminished population.
