Monitoring incanter's flow

Should I keep an eye on my incanters flow stacks and 'try' to use spells like ebonbolt, frozen orb or blizzard on high stacks to achieve highest dps?
Or shouldn't I worry about that too much

My understanding is that you shouldn't worry about it much. You don't want to end up delaying any of your short recharge spells because you might end up casting fewer of them overall, and your long CDs are better served being lined up with more important things (increased boss damage, adds you need to burst, etc). Largely forget it exists and hope the RNG gods are kind.

As the above poster said it's generally not worth trying to game it. However, if you happen to notice you're approaching higher stacks and you have procs of FoF to spare or haven't proc'd a brainfreeze you could wait to use those procs until you're at 4 and 5 stacks of IF. It's mostly something to be aware of and as you get more practiced you can occasionally use lots of procs in that IF 4-5 stack window, but not something you should focus too much attention on.
